About Us

Luis Bornancini is the Founder and Principal of LB Actuarial Consulting LLC. He’s an Affiliated Member of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Luis is a results-driven insurance professional with more than 28 reputable years of experience improving processes and profit margins. A partner to the business applying financial, actuarial and analytical skills in pricing, reserving and portfolio management.

Before founding LB Actuarial Consulting LLC located in Miami, Florida, Luis Bornancini worked as Chief Actuary of Latin America (in Miami, FL) for global carriers (Ace, Zurich, Catlin and QBE) bringing a broad perspective to find solutions meeting multiple needs. Before moving to Miami, he worked in Tillinghast-Towers Perrin, ING, Mapfre and Gen Re in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
